    Are you trying to say that someone ran a train without having accreditation and when the committee told


    no train was run with out accredittation


    The above message is a bit confusing.



    the whole show at the ghan society is  confusing
    it would take a lot of writing to explain what is occuring out there

    Ike, is there any further news on NSU58. Last time I was in Alice Springs in September last year, it was explained that the engine hadn't been started for a while. Has this changed, has the engine been started recentlt?

    i now live and work in broken hill since jan 08

    but from what i can gather ( without going into it to deep and getting in to trouble ) the whole rail side at this stage can not get accreditation from the nt govt  
    it looks like it has all gone back to a static display  once again

    I saw the Old Ghan on Scott McGreggor's DVD the other night. Does the preserved train still run and is there a website?

    Also are there any other operating tourist railways in the Northern Territory?

    Is there a list somewhere of what rolling stock , engines , carriages ,   etc  of what the society owns ?
