There is however a different between being drunk and not bothering people to wanting to pick fights with everyone on the train.I wish someone had told me that earlier. It's clear to me now why I keep waking up in a police cell on Sunday mornings.
A PSO box is being built at Clayton Station on Platform 1 in between the main station building and the burnt out foundations of of the old shelter. There is also some sort of structure being built at Cranbourne but I can't be sure that it will eventually be a PSO box yet.It looks like there's one being built on platform 1 South Yarra too.
I can't possibly imagine what they would do all night at really quiet stations. Take people's names? Crosswords?
The other issue I have it that it's only after 6PM; believe me, that's not the exclusive time for drunk texta wielding teens and chroming smackies to come out. Try catching a Franga train during the day and you'll see what I mean - especially during school holidays.
It's a political fix anyway - if there's a change of government at the next election you'll probably see the program wound back/terminated and all these PSO pods will be a reminder of what a political footy the rail system is.
I've been to Frankston a few times, most, if not all of them were during school holidays, and the worst crime I've seen there is fare evasion.
