Apparently there has been a derailment at Caulfield that is disrupting both Pakenham and Frankston lines.
Anymore info?

Seems there are now widespread delays across the network.  35 minutes on other lines.

The derailment occurred in the up Caulfield through siding involving a 6 car Comeng set running empty from Mordialloc. The train reportedly ran over the derail block protecting the exit onto the mainline, two and a half cars proceeded beyond the block before the train was stopped. This fouled the up mainline which resulted in up/down Frankston's being switched to the centre and down lines for the evening peak.

There were two alstom comeng carriages parked on what I think is the siding line on the Frankston lines heading into Caulfield this morning.

The trailing 3 car set (629M-630M) from the derailed train was left in the up Caulfield through siding last night.

Ah, that must be it then. I thought I'd seen two, which seemed to match with reports that two carriages had been derailed.
They were gone this morning.
