The Mail Exchange is a horrible pokies den. I hope the Savoy doesn't go down that path- but I know it probably will.

I didn't even know the Mail Exchange had poker machines until I wandered over to that side of the room one day. For drinks, a meal and no LOUD intrusive music, the Exchange is a great venue.

I abhor pokies in pubs. I'll admit there are far worse examples of pokies dens in the CBD than the Mail Exchange, but even so, I just think they are a blight.

At least having pokies would presumably impose some sort of dress standard to clients visiting the pub (if that is the direction the Savoy is going to take), and attract a better class of clientele.
As I noted previously, the standard of patronage The Savoy attracted previously was probably about the lowest one could get in a pub.

Lets use the money in this to get Gladys Berejiklian down to Melbourne because she seems to be the only bloody politician who has got more than 1 decent public transport project up and running!

You joke surely?
She is nothing but incompetent and is rapidly stuffing NSW transport.

Oh god no!
I was hesitating commenting it because I thought someone would take me seriously!

She has been nothing but trouble, and just seems like a right old cow!
