Silica tramway to Bannisters Point from quarry near Pattimores Lagoon, just south of Conjola. Operating during the 20s and 30s.
Detailed by Jim Longworth in "Light Railways" No 205, Feb 2009.
Photo taken looking north across Narrawallee Inlet. Jim's article has a photo taken in 1937 from a similar location (but further up to the right in the bush).

It was actually a day that was going to over 45 degs & this was taken early morning. I thought it looked a bit creepy.
Anyway, NSW; line is closed now. It was the place of a large manufacturing plant, now closed as well. There's a derelict turntable.

Neither Michelago, Canowindra, nor south of Wimbourne. I actually think the bridge jibbonpoint has in mind crosses Borah Creek a bit north of Wimbourne although I have some difficulty in pinpointing exactly where Wimbourne was and I am happy to be corrected. Either way it is not the one.

I was looking at a bridge which I thought was the one at Borah Creek, as you described. This requires some on site investigation, I'm pleased to say.

The one at Borah Creek is between where I take Wimbourne to be and Upper Manilla. It is right beside a side road which from recollection follows the old line for some distance.

There's another on the Barraba Line; deck truss over Oaky Creek. Best I can place it is just south of Barraba.

Anyway, I managed to spring this by chance after the Council had recently mowed. It was a fair way away from a well photographed station on Rolf World but not spotted nor obviously 'photographed. The yard was obviously a substantial one in it's heyday and was a terminus before extending.
The line is in use. And in NSW.
