Are you doing spencer street?I thought was terminating at flagstaff,but great if you are!!Yep, We've included Spencer Street and the Viaduct with South Bank predominately under construction as it was in the 90's.
Nope, no terminating at Flagstaff, you're able to start from Epping, drive to either Princes Bridge, take the loop entrance from Jolimont or arrive directly at Flinders Street and then run across the Viaduct to Spencer Street and then through the loop on your way back to Epping.

Just a small update, We have constructed steel beam gantries for the Lalor to Epping Section to match the early era of when the 1989 station opened alongside maintenance center, and not to mention a nice brand new 1989 Epping Station Building in brand new condition, grime free with a Comeng from today.

Looks like this is nearly all done. I need to sort out my screwed up computer, or get a new one for that matter. It is getting unusable, I can't even open MSTS, Trainz or Railworks at the moment, I think Its time to do a backup and a good reformat. Its not a Virus or Spyware either... Something has just got screwed up.

Love the new route. Very good work to those who have made it and who have taken all the time to get the photos and make the route. this route is going to be very popular when released for MSTS. keep up the very good hard work and hope there will be many more superb routes to come in the future

In this route, you will be able to enjoy the sights of some iconic but now vanished buildings, such as the gas and fuel towers. Who remembers those?

Ever since the early days of user route creation I've visualised how the Melbourne metropolis would look in MSTS; the picturesque view of the Yarra, the iconic look of Flinders Street and the glow of the many tall buildings overlooking the railway line all reincarnated via virtual simulation of user interpretation. That Picture Definitely Matches My Visualisation. In fact those iconic Sofitel and ANZ buildings with a dull look but glistening glow are essentially replicating the real thing. Great job!
Also, great work with detail of Melbourne Central railway station, I can't believe how elaborate the escalators etc look, that would have taken me forever to do.

Unfortunately I've been a bit busy lately, but work is proceeding:
A comeng arrives into platform 2 past the then newly installed escalators. Replacing the ramps seemed like a good idea in the 1990's but 20 years into the future the escalators would pose severe limits on passenger capacity as patronage increased.

Right at the end of parcels van operation they spent a lot of time stabled here at the Spencer Street parcels dock.
Down comeng waiting to depart for Epping. Now with openrails' better visibility distance we can see the city skyscrapers in the background.
Crossing the Merri Creek bridge, just after the tight 9 chain curve at the former junction of the inner circle line.
A comeng scuttles along through Collingwood.
Almost ready for signals now!
