Well the title says it all, we are returning a motor-less WG to its original BG standard as i said else where I have a correct "buda" motor at home I will take some pics of that soon (it is fairly disassembled) but some original pictures diagrams would help!

Bit of an update me and Andrew lifted the wooden body off and removed all brake gear and all other bolted on things (excepting the wheels/axels) so it can be taken over to the ship yard to be blasted then painted

Update: The buda engine is nearly fully dismantled and the under frame is siting on the rails on wharf 4 (caused a unknown rail fan some excitement) and has been ridden down by a few of the workers (Flintstone style) as a stir! No work has been done on the body.

These photos are when me and Andrew separated the body and under frame

We need help with the colour so far I have found red, orange, cream, black, and burgundy (red lead) and 2 shades of yellow! We want this to be original as possible so what would it be? My idea would be black under frame and burgundy (red lead) body.
