It mentions it by having said drawing, and Wolfpac, that drawing is part of the marketing tools. Then that eliminates what the poster said about them not having seating/interiors etc.

I meant in text, specifically saying (in black and white, as such) "including interiors" or alternatively "will not include interiors" or wording to that effect. (Before someone picks up that and says it won't say it like that or something...)
The CAD images do show interiors, like the N Set CAD images showed, so you would think they will include them, until they say on the site otherwise.
End of the day, can someone lining up at the Auscision stand at Liverpool show in a couple of weeks ask them, will they (and ask them to put it on the site)

Newcastle When i ordered my XPT i read the order form list of details and looked at XPT page on website and no where does it mention that the car comes with interiors hence my comment about winging, what do you want them to do list all the things it does not have,eg the model is not N scale, the model is not O gauge the model will not come with a working toaster in the buffet car,how is it in anyway deceptive is beyond me.If its not listed its not a feature. The fact that you think they should have interiors doesnt mean they have to do it.Tooling all the different car interiors would be expensive and as i said previously the cars worked out at $80.00 each before the price rise.I will ask them at liverpool show but im guessing the price rise has something to do with aussie dollar going down and possibly car interiors if they are tooling them.Auscision sell interiors for N and E cars for 19.95 and the only reason they are that cheap would be they had to tool them for the cars anyway and got extras made at the same time.Tooling a car or loco the costs are similar so they are boxes with wheels..expensive ones.
Newcastle Express you keep harping on about some preliminary drawing,i will say it for the 5th time when you order you fill out a form that clearly states what features the model has PLAIN and SIMPLE get over it.I bet you havnt even ordered an XPT yet your the lead winger.A6ET you make valid points about most pass stock coming with interiors but its not like auscision ever listed interiors as a feature. Also they may now be phasing out orange tint windows but what about the 1982-2000 period when they did all have these windows prior to the change outs starting to happen.Lighting is not an issue on Auscision cars as they have never offered it.I'm sorry.....I can help myself anymore.
Slightly ironic that the English 'lesson' contains slang, grammar, capitalisation and punctuation errors in itself...I certainly ain't perfect either.....but I really do try to use the correct word when there ("their") are different spellings of words that sound the same and have totally different meanings. (EG: to/too/two).

Since we're mentioning horse anatomy, from the "horses mouth"... (to the question I asked)
Question: XPT interiors/seats etc - yay or nay?
Reply: Yes.
Right, so that's the end of that little "issue"/sticking point, then.
Enjoy...
Wolfpac
Thanks for that Wolfpac but certainly in my mind there exists some confusion.
The question that was asked as whether there would be interiors "yay or nay" and the answer that come back was a very curt answer of "Yes". I'm sorry to be pedantic but is this yes to yay or yes to nay. I get the impression they are a little pissed off the question has even been raised. From one of the other answers on FB they say make the very cryptic comment that "interiors will be available in 2014".
From all of this I'm concluding that contrary to what meh had reported in communication with Auscision several pages ago that yes interior detail will be "available". So does this mean that initially the XPT sets will not come with interiors and that they can be purchased separately as an (presumably) extra cost after market item? And is this an extra cost above the cost increase that comes into effect at the end of October?
I've sent an email to Auscision asking for clarification. So no Wolfpac - I don't believe this is the end of this little issue.

Nathan Peters: I assume these are due out soon then?
Roger Hill: Jeez, how can some people confuse things over a simple statement!
Adam Weise: Hopefully a quick/easy question: XPT interiors/seats etc - yay or nay?
Just to settle something...
Auscision Models: Yes.
Nathan Peters: Is this yes to they out soon or the interiors?
Auscision Models: Interiors. They will be available in 2014.
MM - Thanks for that full transcript of the Facebook chatter. As a non-FB member all I see on their FB page is a jumble of seemingly unrelated questions and answers. I agree that when put in context it does seem to answer the questions. Yes interiors will be part of the as-delivered product and that the XPTs are coming in 2014.You're welcome. I'm not a Facebook member either, but I found that comments are sorted by a "Top Comments" ranking as a default - if you click on this and select "Recent Activity", it should show them in (albeit reverse) order.
I will never-the-less pass on any reply I get to my email enquiry.

Thanks for that Wolfpac but certainly in my mind there exists some confusion. How does that get misinterpreted or any shadow of a doubt exist!? Still!? How do you answer yes to no?! You do understand what yay and nay mean? EDIT: It was an OR statement, not an AND statement. One for the Boolean fans out there...

It's like the questions earlier on their Page about when they'll be out and about the price rise. The information was RIGHT there yet it was still misinterpreted... Comprehension, anyone?
I asked a simple question and it only required a simple answer.
The question was answered as simply as you can get and in the affirmative they will have interiors.
And then re-answered again following me asking the question.
Really? Really? Sports entertainment fans will appreciate that one.
Wolfpac
in my mind there exists some confusion. The answers were pretty clear to me. When some one asks a question and says 'yes or no' an answer of 'blue' or 'chocolate cake' is likely to be nonsensical. When someone answers 'yes' they are EXCEEDINGLY UNLIKELY to mean 'yes, no is correct'. I'd say such an answer would never be given, but there are some stupid people in this world... But the Auscision boys would be a long way from stupid, hence the only answer is 'yes' as in 'yes'...
"interiors will be available in 2014".Punctuation matters, use it, understand it and there is not confusion. Deliberately or otherwise you have mispunctuated that sentence from the original, it now appears to say something ENTIRELY different from that which was intended. That is your fault, not Auscision's.
Auscision Models For those that don’t know how to read Facebook comments correctly I will write it again. Now if we cast our mind back a few pages to what started all this witty banter, all I can say is "gee, someone's face must be red now".
YES the XPT passenger cars will have interiors. They were designed like this from day one.
AND they will be available in 2014! That’s the XPT models not the interiors!
Also all cars will have orange tinted windows as per the prototype but don’t ask for passengers as they won’t have any!
(When reading comments please select “recent activity” and read from the bottom up that way you will understand what questions our answers were for!)
Comments or examples of bad Spelling or misused grammer etc. is not to continue in this thread......I take some exception to this, the yes and no argument came out of a crazy post questioning what was the simplest possible answer to a simple question. An understanding of the question gave the answer an exact meaning and certainty.
The yes and no sideline is not on topic and if one is so worried, create a topic in the lounge, say titiled "yes and no questions"
http//www.auscisionmodels.com.au/Auscision%20Models%20Blog.htmPrecisely, hopefully now it's been answered concisely enough. Although you needed to use your avatar as a smiliey after that statement, rather than
looking forward to their arrival; hopefully tomorrow but most likely tuesday or wednesday.
as for the XPT, let's bury this topic now that it has been confirmed by Auscision. It was a pleasure arguing the topic with those involved P
