A huge thank you to you all for tuning in and giving the show such a positive viewing. Generally it went well and the ratings were very respectable over a million on Sunday night and 1.2 mil for the Vietnam ep. so there's plenty of armchair train lovers as well as us 'maniacs'out there.
There's still one ep to go the Savannahland about far north Queensland and channel 7 haven't scheduled it yet so I hope they do - maybe a bit of prompting is required.
The DVD has more stuff in it than the Channel 7ep which was only 44 minutes long (for ad breaks) and the DVD versions are 55" each ep. In case you need, EZE-DVD has it or JB hi-fi can get it in from Magna Pacific.
The show is off overseas now and if it's like the last one it'll still be popping up 6 years after the event.
Somebody was asking- we actually started shooting late 2002 and finished a year later. That Junee stuff was shot Jan 2003 (in the middle of those horrendous buhfires)
I've got a new show on Sat. night called Australian Icon towns it's on the history channel at 7.30p.m. and I managed to squeeze in a rail story in just about every segment.
Thanks again for your support and great feedback see ya Down The Line
