Horsham for example has no daily passenger train and there appears to be no local will to introduce a SG VLocity to co-ordinate at Ararat with BG, and Hugh Delahunty, local MP at Horsham is way too comfortable in his seat to be bothered rocking the boat.
Meanwhile in Mildura, despite being served by three airlines every day at often outrageous fares, the community and local government support for the reintroduction of a passenger rail service continues strongly. A whole generation has been born who have never seen a daily passenger train to Mildura.
