David - great shots and thanks for sharing.Albeit not related to Auscision, details here: http://www.railpage.com.au/f-p1867631.htm#1867631
Can anyone confirm if the 81/G/BL samples from Austrains are on display?
I'm sure they'll hop(per) onto their mistake soon enough. And then we'll be happy "their after". Given the circumstances the odd type was bound to slip in.Glad to see the humour wasn't lost, then...
Interesting choice of wagon, OTM revealed samples of theirs (BLX, VLX and variants) not too long ago. I guess Auscision would be too far along to scrap production a la Austrains and their flatties...Very, obviously a popular choice considering the variety of codes, liveries and states/eras.
Re the 45 classIan,
Has anyone else noticed from the drawings on the Products page of the website, that the Indian Red and Reverse versions don't seem to show the sand fillers that were relocated to the sides of the hoods.
Happy to be proven wrong, but I believe they were relocated very early on in their lives, so I would think the 1980's versions should have them on the sides and not the ends of the hoods.
Maybe it's just the drawings, but they can be made out on the sides on the Candy/RT/Blue versions.
Also a bit peeved that they are not doing more Indian Red numbers (1980's) with double marker lights.
Wonder if the Indian Red 1980's versions come with the pipe that was fitted over the top of the radiator fan. It is shown on the candy etc versions, but I know of photos of Indian Red versions with them.
Cheers,
Ian
