Video of GM10, 4716, 4917 & 4911 hauling a heavy southern ballast job

Locomotives GM10, 4716, 4917 & 4911 put on a spectacular show yesterday hauling a heavy ballast load from Marulan to Temora. Recording the action was not without risk though. I had to share three locations with large brown snakes which are currently in plague proportions down south.

If you like the sound of EMDs working hard you will probably enjoy the ten minute video sequence I have just uploaded. 4716 was on line, you just can't hear it over the sound of the other three locos.

Thanks Bevan - this is historical record for the future.
Good old GM10 she has been a real survivor after having been out of service for around 12 months in the early 1960s.
