I'm using my iPad and it's viewing in text. When I use chrome (both iPad and Computer) I'm getting the  same messages. Safari on my computer just says "sorry, this server can't be trusted" and just doesn't load.

It was working earlier though perfectly. Though, I'm relieved that I'm not the only one experiencing this. I almost thought my IP was hacked.

I am still getting the warning message about me using old browser which is not true - I use IE10  but I don't get it with Firefox.

Can you update to IE11? Might be worth a try.

IE11 gives me problems  but that is not the real fix. As per the warning message
Railpage is only supported on Google Chrome and Internet Explorer 9 and above

and I already have IE10.

when attempting to "LIKE" a news item http://www.railpage.com.au/news/article-13392/ for facebook the pop up which contains the correct information will not let me press the post to facebook.  anyone else having this issue?

I know this is an old one but it's still apparent that non-square Avatars still seem to have an issue loading on forums, as with my one.

It shows up the correct shape and size in "Your Profile" but on forum posts, It seems to show up as square, as visible with my one.

Not too critical and I think I may have mentioned it before, but when you click on the "User Info" button on a post you may see something like:

Joined: Nov 30, 2013
Last Visited: Jan 1, 1970

In this case the user joined today and posted today, so his/her last visited date must have been today. Even if it is not the user's first post the "Last Visited" date is usually prior to the date of the post. I'm wondering how a user can post without visiting? Smile

Oh, and we're not in the US, so let's have dates in local format please!

Last visit is a tricky date. It's set when you log in based on your last session time. I've put a work-around in for the meantime.

This has been changed in dev code to your time format preferences, found under Website -> Your Account.

Unless it's an animated gif, we crop avatars almost everywhere on the site to a square shape. I don't think this will change.

I see the dilemma and don't have an answer for it! At least a new member could have their last visit set to the joining date instead of some arbitrary date in the past. My view was that if you posted that must have been your last visit unless you had visited since and not posted. What happens if nobody ever logs out?

Fair enough, I just wondered if it was a bug due to it showing up as the correct ratio in the "Your Profile" section.

If I can be bothered, I'll re-jig it with a transparent border in Illustrator some time.

Thanks.

I can't seem to get it to work. I played around with it in Illustrator and Fireworks but no such luck. I'll just leave it as it is.

i am experiencing a problem today.  i like to watch the various trains through gheringhap and buncam using the summary provided http://www.railpage.com.au/flickr/tag/Railpage=1/
the only drama today is none of the images are displaying.  this has only happened today for me.  has something changed?

images are correctly displayed on this page http://www.railpage.com.au/railcams/bunbury-street

it is the photo gallery button which is not working.
