I was there when this one happened. Absolutely terrible...both legs were pretty much sheared off. The horrible thing was, immediately after it happened, the commuters dragged the guy clear and then he actually reared up and tried to run on the stumps. Heartbreaking

Something has broken on the system. The east hills via sydenham train I am on crawled into holsworthy where it filled to the rafters with people. The guard then announced it is going via the airport rather Sydenham. Got to east hills and crowded platform with noone able to get on the train and sat here for about 5 min so far.
Ah... And now as I update, they send it back via Sydenham. No pooint stopping at these other stations since the train is packed so much nobody can get on anyway.

A man was trying to board a train in Sydney when he fell through a gap between the carriage and platform, police say.
A man has been killed by a train after slipping into a gap between the carriage and platform in Sydney.
Police say the man was trying to board a train at Dulwich Hill station about 4.20pm on Wednesday when he fell onto the tracks.
When the train pulled away, he became trapped beneath the carriage. He died at the scene.

For whatever reason, the 2nd Endeavour set was unavailable, so it's been a pair of 4 car Oscars running Dapto-Kiama, with a single Endeavour doing Kiama-Bomaderry.
