The Down service left Sydney on the evening of Thursday, 13/2/14, and again Friday, 21/2/14, still plenty of seats.
On Friday evening, 14/2/14, the Down service arrived at Parramatta close to time, not many customers joining the train there.
- Scott.
Springwood, Penrith, Parramatta and Strathfield are D stops. They're set down only; or pick up going up the mountains.
Is this actually policed? I remember catching a Mountain train with a "D" for Penrith... It seemed 1/2 the train got off at Penrith !

The Bathurst Endeavour stops at Tarana.
No sorry.
I think it was discussed earlier in this thread. They will not spend the money to upgrade Rydal, Tarana and Wallerawang stations to Sydney Trains/NSW Trainlink Intercity standard. Now with Opal across the network, those stations would need further infrastructure.
All they need to do is paint the edge of the platform white and stop the train, surely local residents deserve the benefits of a new local service?

Crew training has begun for road knowledge and it will be an extension of the Bathurst Service
