Van bodies EE19 and EEP22 are due to be collected from Campania tomorrow for delivery to New Norfolk. So if anyone out and about sees a EE or EEP heading down the road, they are heading for the DVR.

Forgive me for being a little ignorant about this subject, but I'm always keen to learn.
I was just wondering about EBR no.1002: Is this locomotive vacuumed braked or air braked? Was anything on the former Emu Bay Railway that was air braked?

1002 is vacuum. The conversion to air on the Melba Line didn't occur until after EBR ceased to exist

Went to the Bennett Brook Railway Open Day today where they gave a behind the scenes tour.
While there was able to take a couple of photos of the former Magnet Tramway O&K Mallet.
Apologies for the quality, taken on iPhone in dark shed on raining day.

I saw a news article from Inveresk the other day about the imminent restoration of DRR carriage BBL1. It was my understanding that Emu Bay Railway carriage DB5 was in the Inveresk shed. Has restoration finished on that carriage or its it still being worked on?

DB5 is still getting worked on. AB4 was recently refurbished at Inveresk.

Is there any news as how the restoration on DB5 is going?  I was wondering to what period they are restoring it to.

I see that H1 has been moved at the TTM. When was the last time that happened? Is it going to receive some work?

H1 will just get a cosmetic resto if anything.

Dp14 and PT5 are no longer at the old Burnie station.
