Just seems a bit odd being able to look into the edit history of random people's posts.
PS: Really like the Newest Unread for each thread. Disliked having to waste time scrolling back up from the last post to where I was last up to.
Two events awaiting approval. I EDIT AND PUBLISH finding my way to https://www.railpage.com.au/calendar/event/1292/edit and have a screen with only the banner. No content.Known issue. Don't stress.
I like the new look and the new features. The speed for me is a concern. The railcam pictures which I have been looking at today are very slow to load. Was this the case with the old RP?Regarding the speed, our production server is old and tired and needs replacing. This was demonstrated on January 1st when it died in the middle of an OS upgrade.
I've been getting a "Whoops! Password is empty" message any time I try to log in to my account on RP 3.9 - had to resort to creating an alt here to leave this feedback (left some feedback using the form a couple of days ago, but I don't think it worked)Try again on your old account please, both of you.
Regular account is "LancedDendrite".
Seems to work now - any idea what the problem was?We store passwords in two database columns - the really old md5() hash in one column and a newer bcrypt hash in another. We introduced bcrypt two years ago, and as password hashes are updated to bcrypt the md5 hash is removed. This is because md5 is not a safe and secure hash.
Last visit date/time has not updated since RP 3.9 was implemented. That's quite odd, I can't say I've experienced those issues.
Edit: Also threads marked as read are getting marked as unread again as I read other forums.
As per Greensleaves above, I have been logged out and am unable to log back in as "c3526blue". Message is "Whoops - Password is not complicated(?) enough". I tried logging in through Google but Railpage did not recognise my email address - unsuccessful!! I then tried linking through Facebook and have now ended up with two (2) user ID's. What is going on? HELP please!!!Give it a go now.
Yours in confusion,
John
