Once used by trains, this location is now used occasionally for a more modern mode of transport.
The mode of transport is more modern than rail, which I reckon makes it more modern than shipping too.
The more modern transport is only there in emergencies.
I'm going to take a stab and say Millgrove, as the fire station there is on or very close to what was the Millgrove railway station site, and is at least sitting on the old r.o.w.
Whether or not fire trucks qualify as a more modern form of transport is up for some debate I guess
Beauty. I was racking my brains trying to think of airfields built on old railway station sites or easements- but was coming up blank. Then remembered Nowa Nowa had the chopper pad!
