Dunolly has had big nuggetts found about there but I know of no station location changes. 60,000 sounds like more population than was ever there too.

This station on a line closed in the mid 1980s, was named after an agricultural village to the south west. It could have been built directly north of the place it was named after but it was built further east so that it could also serve a gold mining settlement directly north of where the station was built.
Construction of this line was begun before the octopus act of the 1880s and the station was closed only a few years before the line' complete closure.
