TL152 is an EMD G12 model diesel-electric locomotive built in 1957 by Clyde Engineering and exported to the Kowloon-Canton Railway in Hong Kong. In 2006, CFCLA purchased and 're-patriated' 4 of the 5 TL class locos that were built, then put them out on hire on the ARTC network. 3 of those locos were then on-sold; TL152 went to K&AB Rail.

This looks to be quite an interesting tour.

The following isn't mentioned on the official tour page from 707 Operations website, but can be deduced if you read between the lines:

BG portion of the trip to be run as push pull with P15 leading the down leg, via Bacchus Marsh,

BG up leg via North Geelong with T413 leading

P15 to lead via Bacchus Marsh, which will be allowed to run at or up to 100km/h, whereas if T413 leads it would only be allowed to run at 80km/h due to TPWS restrictions.

Please anybody in the know correct me if I have got the wrong impression.

That is be correct, P15 is TPWS equipped and it is intended to lead out of Southern Cross with it. T413 will bring the train from Newport and then attach the P class at Southern Cross

I think TL152 was built in 1955. The Clyde builder's number in my records shows it as 55-61.
This would indicate it was built in 1955 and was the 61st diesel locomotive built by them. It pre-dates T320 by two numbers,55-63. QR 1400,55-55, being the first non streamliner they built. Then KCR number 51,55-59, still in the museum in Hong Kong, then TL152.
TL152 was owned by El Zorro but came on the market when the folded. The other two TL's owned by El Zorro have passed through a couple of owners and are now at Tailem Bend where one is in the process of being reactivated.

You're probably right about the build date.

Did you receive an email update from 707 Operations last night?

There was an email sent out to passengers I believe.

TL152 powering along having just been through Deep Leed and heading west.  Looks like they crossed an UP grain with G540 at Deep Leed.

Link of train through Stawell.

I think there is only a single BG road at Ararat so with Vlocity operations from V/Line (assuming vline are still running trains these days) will the T and the P class remain at Ararat until the return of TL152?

Looks like it was a good trip for those involved. I wonder if anyone got photos/video of P15 leading between Bacchus Marsh & Ballarat?
