Very hard to tell.

But it's a curiosity that I can claim bragging rights for that I own one of the most-travelled exhibition layouts in the world!

I've built an all-new N-gauge mini-layout since the last post, taken it from Melbourne to the UK for an exhibition and brought it back. My first venture into the smaller scale had to fit inside a travel bag and pushed to the limit the flex in flexi-track and the ability of rolling stock to get round it.

Here are 4 pics I just took of 3 trains in my "staging yard" plus a "wheat special" on the upper main line.
The wheat special is hauled by 8019+4203+4306

This part of my layout is along the 7.5m wall of the shed (which is 12m x 7.5m).

Quick Q: have you had any issues with parking rolling stock next to uninsulated metal?

I am jealous of anyone with a layout big or small
sceniced or not.  Sad

This.
I've been living in my house for almost a year now, and the only progress on my layout has been to build a dozen or so module frames.  Continuing work on the house (painting.  Ugh) as well as trying to clean up the in-laws' has eaten into a lot of available time.

Hi Guys, in addition to all the S scale rollingstock being built at the moment I am working on a layout to run it. Just got the Haskell backscenes mounted and the next module beyond Melrose is nearing completion, except it still needs lots of trees.

First up is a shot of Melrose with one of many incomplete projects, a Silverton Alco

and a few shots of the new module with a Barwell Bull crossing Main North Road and Rocky River

In pix 2 & 3, the white car appears to be a KE10 Toyota Corolla, the first series thereof - is it?

And what car is hauling the 1960s aerodynamics-like-the-side-of-a-barn Viscount Ambassador-type caravan?

Looks like an EH Holden or an XR Falcon 500

Moderators- I thinks a ban is in order for mattc66- he is clearly a wizard and shouldn't be flaunting his magic and passing it off as 'skills'

I especially love the river scene, thanks for sharing- and keep them coming!

Brilliant work Matt! Layout and models look great. Well done!

Cheers Guys. FYI its a XW Fairmont wagon towing the Viscount which is sold under the banner of Aussie Road Ragers, although I am not sure who the actual manufacturer is. The KE10 Corolla is made Tomica (Tomytec).

I have bought a number of the Tomica cars off ebay direct out of Japan and HK. Tomica do a "limited vintage" range of older (1960-70's) 1/64 cars that all have a sensational level of detail and being Japanese are right hand drive. If you are looking for something more modern (1980-today) they also have a "vintage neo" range. I've bought older cars such as an Isuzu Bellet, FJ56 Land Cruiser and Datsun 1600 through to a Galant, Sigma, Gemini and Nissan Patrol.
