Although Lithgow Loco is a ghost town now, I think they may still have fuel facilities there as I believe a few locos have been refurbished in the sheds so they would need somewhere to decant and refill during any maintenance work I would think.
I wonder during its gallivanting about if the Bathurst Bullet may top up the tanks when its stowed there for those few hours each night?

Some of the fuel plant is still present, but it isn't serviceable and is definitely not in use. I think the Bullet fuels at Meeks Rd.

Other fuel points: Inner Harbour (Port Kembla), Port Waratah (dunno about Kooragang, NCIG hasn't got one), Clyde, dunno about others. Fuel pods exist and fuel trucks visit some places.

Kooragang has/had a fuel point halfway down on 3 Departure, and QR refuelled from TankTainers in the siding off 6 Dep. Greta is PN's new thing in the Hunter Valley and QR has one at Hexham going in (might already be finished now). They also had a semi-permanent installation at the Ashton coal mine, but if that is still in use/when it was retired I've no idea.

Werris Creek hasn't been mentioned, nor Chullora/SFT. We also regularly refuelled via road tanker at the Manildra silo's at Gunnedah, but I've no idea if that is still done.

Freightliner have facilities at Bulga , Mt Owen & Mangoola mines for their coal fleet although these engines are owned by Glencorp   after buying out Xstrata a few years ago , I don't know where their  other fleet engines that are used on the cotton train from Narrabri  to  Botany are  fuelled  at ..

Kooragang lost their fuel road a  few years ago  along with  the sand  bins  above the  fuel point . QR have also removed the  fuel point from the mark off siding   off 6 road about the same time .

A point about the 3 mine fuel points is that they are all computer controlled  from remote places & when logging in there is provision for not only Freightliner to access  fuel , lube oil & sand &  water   there is also a drop down menu  for  PN & also QR or  who ever they are now & possibly room for other possible  users to use this equipment . As far as I know  only Freightliner have used them at   present .

Former Loco depot fuel points were

Delec Enfield which is long gone with all locos fuelled at Clyde.

Chullora still there but not used often.

Werris Creek still in use.

Junee is still there I believe.

Cootamundra still in use.

Parkes still in use.

Temora but not sure if still used.

Goulburn not used however locos can be fuelled at CFCLA compound.

Dubbo not used.

Lithgow not used.

Grafton and Broken Hill possibly still used.

Albury, Broadmeadow, Taree and Casino all gone.

Ballast trains are often fuelled by road tanker at loading points such as Talbragar,Narrabri West, Lynwood, Mirrool, Gilgandra, Wyalong, Binnaway to name a few.

Qube has a fuel point at Narromine.

SSR have fuel points at Westons Enfield, Kelso and Fletchers Dubbo.

Grafton is still definitely used by XPT's.  But most, if not all loco fuelling is done way back at Acacia ridge.   IF broadmeadow fuelling is gone, where do the hunter line trains fuel up?

Hi All
I have seen SSR refuel their locos for the grain trains via fuel truck
near the grain terminal at Carrington.
