Recently when i was traversing the ARS marble grand concourse that runs between the north terrace stairs and the river torrens entry, to get to the grange train, i noticed some cleaners walk through a frozen glass clad sliding door that faces in the opposite direction to the ticket barriers. When the door opened i glimpsed a very long wide and well lit passage running for eons underneath the casino and towards king william street.
I was wondering what is hidden under there? Is it just cleaners equipment? Is it offices? Is it training facilities for new drivers? Is it another concourse with 9 platforms in the negative direction for a planned eastern suburbs network?
