Now stored behind the L classes in the Elecrail section. No restoration or other work has taken place that I'm aware of, and there are no plans to scrap it that I'm aware of.

Think you will find the Tait was scrapped / destroyed a couple of years back in the big clean up around Newport along with a lot of other cars and I wagons etc

My mistake, I saw "greaser" and went straight to Harris. I'm not sure about the tait greaser.

sorry i should of said tait inspection car not greaser. what about double ended swing door 113m i saw a picture of it on vicsig in 1997 and said: "awaiting restoration" is it still at newport or was it scrapped with the other rotten road rolling stock?
to me it (if it still exists) should be restored painted red and replace the other swing door that got burnt unless their fixing the ones that got burnt. Razz

link to 113m on vicsig:http://vicsig.net/index.php?page=suburban&section=rollingstock&carriage=113&cartype=M&traintype=Swing%20Door
