Update from Auscision Models on their FB page regarding car carriers. They are on their way and due to arrive in two weeks, pre orders close 9th Jan 2017.

They have been short supplied some of the two car packs, but those who miss out will get them in April ( orders filled based on date ordered)

They have in transit a small number of NSWGR 45 locos due to arrive 1st week of February 2017. They suggest early ordering to ensure you get your choice.

You could always do alittle bit of modelling and change the numbers yourself. I do believe that there are these things called decals, which allow you to do this.

Wont look as good..... Good luck with a good decal too. I'm not doubting your abilities, but i disagree. Happy for you to provide photos as proof a decal job looks good on a recent RTR model. Victorian wise, show me a decal on a T or X class head board that looks remotely like what scale was on the RTR model.... Hahaha.

I'm always a believer that when you do reruns, if you do a couple of new numbers, it caters for;
a) - obviously those who missed out the first time if they're quick enough to order, as they wont have anything to be overly fussy about if they have none, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY,
b) - those who (you would'nt believe it) might actually want more of what they've already got but with different numbers from the original run. Some people I'm told might actually want 5 sets of V/Line orange grey 3 car N sets all with different numbers. Sure they didn't all come on the first run........... But some fresh ones didn't on the second run either - why?????

Trainorama actually did new numbers on their S class (not enough granted, but new none the less).

I'd really like Auscision to modify their approach on reruns. I recon you have more of a market with a couple of different numbers when doing a rerun. For example, I have their grain wagons and N class pass sets. If they do a rerun in same numbers, it only suits those who have none of these. But with new numbers, well hang on, if I want another set then there's an option here for me - as well as the person who has none at all?? But just my opinion.

I love the variety and numbers of Auscision stuff - its unmatched in the RTR market. But that said, come reruns - I hate re decaling stuff - its such an Austrains thing (because they were lazy with number variety).

Please - do more grain wagons of the same batch. I'll buy another pack. At the moment I wont as I have all i want, but NEW NUMBERS CHANGES THINGS.

Saw that FB comment from Auscision so it probably isn't something obvious - ie the "missing" liveries for the C43/44 locos, but something out of the ordinary. I find it intriguing with their wording they are implying several new liveries on a single product.

Got to hand it to Auscision - they know how to get people talking about them.

Samples of ARTC ADFFs and Transport NSW NDFFs were visible in the display case at Liverpool so my money is on them.

The c43/44s have the 'lets release at least one of them at an exhibition' appeal. Much like happened with the XPTs where not all unannounced models came at once.

If it's "new", then it didn't exist before.

If it's "improved" then it already existed (so isn't new), but they've done some improvements to it.

Well, they are new and they have been improved over a previous model.
Interpretation lays well within the eye of the beholder and is fraught.
I think you have interpreted "new" too narrowly - but that's how you see it but it can bee interpreted in another context or perception.
Interpretation can be such a ....(own interpretation required!)

I have now purchased two of the latest diesels from Auscision and had two problems with them one on each model.

On the GWU the front bogie was very hard to turn on my model and after taking the body off I found out why. On this model the wires had been twisted tightly together and was stopping the bogie from swinging freely, releasing the twisted wire a turn or two fixed that problem.

On my CFCLA one the box behind the cab was on at a weird angle so it was carefully removed and put back on properly as it should have been.

But excellent models just the same!

The February 2017 edition of AMRM has advertisements from Auscision for the C43/C44ACi locomotives in Fletcher, MRL and Black Caviar liveries as available now although they don't seem to be listed on the Auscision and Australian Modeller web sites yet.

While these three new liveries for the C43/44 meets Auscision description of the mystery announcement (ie new liveries for an existing product) I'm not sure this is the answer. Auscision on the FB page had taunted that no-one would be able to guess what it was - and they posted this after people had already suggested these missing C43/44 liveries. Time will tell.

I suggest the "no-one will guess" was tongue-in-cheek, as it's been the most obvious unannounced liveries for some time.

The original post was made at 9:57pm, and the comment about no-body guessing it at 10:00pm. There had been no comments by anybody else in between those.

The Black Caviar model is slightly more expensive at $350 but comes in its own distinctive pink and black box. It is not shown in the advert as being a limited edition which is a sensible decision.
