Yeah, wouldn't want to give modellers a bad name now, would we?

PS; I think you meant prized.  Auscision "priced" it!  VMMLOL.

I see Auscision have done a heap of containers in various sizes from .

Just wondering whether anyone is in a position to state which era's they fall into. The Auscision stuff in the past has had a prototype photos collection and a blurb regarding locos and rollingstock changes in livery etc.

I've not seen anything for their containers, and was wondering whether anyone else has quick reference detail on this re 70-80's, 90s to mid 2000's or similar?? My specific interest is early 80's to 2000.

Any help would be appreciated.

Additionally, I'm unsure whether a response is better gleaned from here, or those who frequent the wagons and containers thread?? Mods call...

Regards

Hi

You could roughly date some by when those companies were operational &/or when the rolling stock to carry those containers were released

"Word just in from our factory is the V Set will ship out of China at the end of April. Pre-order pricing will end on the 28th of April so if you want to save $100.00 on a 4 car set we advise ordering quickly...." - via facebook.

Thanks very much for reposting that. I had originally held off ordering a V because the Tangara was supposed to come out first, so I ordered two of those in 2015. I went ahead and ordered 2 V sets last night.

I eventually need to build a layout to put all this stuff on Smile

Will we ever see the Victorian VP & PH vans? Announced in April 2006, CAD drawing released in Feb 2009. On the bright side if/when they do appear no one can complain they didn't have enough time to save up for them. Laughing

I am sure that there will be lots of people complaining, you just have to read on the Auscision FB page to see the number of whingers and whiners constantly complaining, that Auscision should have given more notice for this or that being released.

I know tongue is firmly planted in cheek there good Sir.

As for the VP & PH Vans, they will come out at the same time as the Harris & Tait Sets along with the 'H' Sets.

No worries trainguy,

I make enough mistakes on my own without help from spellcheck and predictive text apps.  It is nice to see that I am not the only one having such problems.  I always try and reread a post before submission, to check it makes some sort of sense.  Don't always get this right though.  Anyway, makes one laugh a bit at what actually goes online.

Poath,
I have not seen much to spend my money on this last year or two. Just the Aurora, I guess?  Modern era does not impress me at all. Even the XPT did not run in Victoria in my era.

However I did operate inter urban Harris cars behind P Class and in particular, Dynon rosters ran the VR version XPT (poor mans version) 6 or 7 cars with a P Class at each end. This is what I want to model.
Well I have my two P Class, and have had them for several years, but the gap in between is sadly missing.
Might I suggest to everybody who wants these vans, to add to this thread or write to Auscision, and let them know we are very interested in spending money on these things?
I would purchase two sets at least of H cars and one of each van, to allow my A Class and flat top T's to haul these things.
My suggestion is that the long Harris cars be sold in pairs to add into the 3 car sets? Although my guess is the authentic number systems might be a problem, or not.
Cheers

edit:  Forgot those magnificent car carriers. I got more coming too. Smile

Hi

Well those container doors are nearly sealed with the V Sets secured inside, and reading between the lines they may also contain the  A Class, 46 & 86 reruns.

Hopefully those who have pre ordered 48/830 would have received their letters asking about whether they wanted sound. If you haven't received a letter, either it is still to come or your pre order hasn't been confirmed, so I would get in contact to make sure.

I e-mailed them about it the other day, as I have 2 on order. haven't heard back yet, so I'm hoping/assuming they haven't been sent out yet. I did get a confirmation on my V set order that I placed a day or two before that e-mail.

Wow Jason, I didn't realise you had been employed as Auscisions official media advisor?
It must be pretty hard travelling to the shop all the way from New Zealand every day? Or do you just work in the shop on a Saturday?

Hi

No mention of A class or Car Carriers,  but they did say the V sets are the next to arrive.

All those who are waiting for letters for the 48/830 they will endeavour to get sent out next week

Hi
