Hello everyone, just looking for a Comalco (Weipa) Railway Curve & Gradient Diagram please?
If I can get photos of the bridges, tunnels, loading docks, sheds, loader, unloader and other useful information this would be great
also looking for plan drawings of the rolling stock of the Comalco (Weipa) Railway

I will model this over time for use in MSTS/Open Rails
Thanks in advance

I've seen one around the place but I can't remember where. Maybe try asking on the QRIG mailing list?

Ah yes! I seen David's website after posting my message, there is photos which is helpful and a track diagram of the line:)Smile
however, no curve & gradient diagram available Sad if I had this, I'll have the track layed in MSTS within a few hours! Give or take a full day/night

Then I can work on some 3d models and use 3rd party models for scenery:) Quite an easy railway to build in MSTS just need that curve & gradient diagram then I can get started

Thanks so far to the people who has posted Smile

Gradient is pretty straight forward as the line is rarely a few metres from high tide buffer.

Curves, use google earth to calculate as only 4-5 curves from one end to the other.

When I'm looking at locations on maps, I use  map.what3words.com as it allows me to flip between 5 maps and 2 satellite views through tabs at the top left of the map. Generally all maps have their strengths and weaknesses, but the ability to easily flip between 7 views of the same spot at a zoomable scale is very useful to me.

This view of the Weipa bridge defaults to Google Maps, use the tabs at top left to switch between different maps and satellites, use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out.
