Huang's got ties with both sides of the parliament, with Labor and the LNP being given "donations" by Huang or his affiliates, as well as attending functions with him well after the ASIO warning. Clean out the lot of them and start anew.

That gutter trash grub neil mitchell was up on his soapbox this morning wanting shorton hung drawn and quartered(i like that idea).
I dont listen to the grub but the Foodworks supermarket has it over their speakers so could not avoid hearing the lowlife.

No you had to bring your ignorant bias into this thread which has NOTHING to do with the LNP but obviously your too thick to understand the difference between parties or are you just trolling for reactions.

Andrew Robb is very much in the discussion, as the gentleman associated with Sam Dastyari donated to Mr Robb’s campaign vehicle on the day a Free Trade Agreement was signed with China.

Chinese Government and business involvement in Australian Politics needs thorough investigation. Remember the fake Rolex affair:
http://www.smh.com.au/federal-politics/political-news/fake-rolexes--should-they-have-been-checked-for-bugs-20160218-gmxcj6.html
The issue being not so much the value of the watches but that they were worn before being returned.

Whether he was right or wrong, the Sam Dastyari incident is in the “teaching your grandmother to suck eggs” category.

Yet more Shonky Sam revelations this morning.
Supposedly he tried to warn off Tania Plibersec from meeting with a Chinese/Australian PRO Democracy advocate in Hong Kong at the Behest of Chinese Communist party leaders not wanting the meeting to take place.
Shonky denying it and Tania,s office making no denials about these claims.

Reckon Sam will go, whether pushed or jumps not sure.  Probably considering options, and laying foundations for a landbridge to make contact with someone who would Robb.

Tones was on with Ray Hadley this AM. Heard a news grab at midday. Predicting Shanghai Sam will, resign after the Bennalong by-election. Might be one of the few times I agree with him.

Lets' face it, Tones is just jumping on the bandwagon here. I'm sure he is still good mates with Andrew Robb

For example if you suggested to him that treasonous Lyons government of 1938 should have been kicked out of Parliament back then he would be the first to defend them.

If every pollie who lied and/or took a questionable meeting with someone got booted out of parliament fair enough. The treason stuff is over the top as the guy had sh#t.

To ensure what’s good for this goose is indeed good for the rest of them, then:

1. Definitely need a federal ICAC.
2. Pass that bill banning foreign political donations. The government’s been sitting on that for 15 months.
3. How do you stop influence by proxy. There are local political benefactors who have close relationships with foreign entities (no prizes here Smile )
4. Extend a conflict of interest standard for 5 years after a pollie retires.

Excuse me for being emotive, but IMHO I don't believe the treason stuff is over the top here Groundrelay.

Respectfully, Sam's has his chance in the Senate and he's clearly F,,ked it and he's F..ked it BIG time!!!!. Seriously, in light of the allegations if you counted how often or how bad a politician in the history of our federal parliament had stepped on their c0ck with the seriousness off the allegations, could we have found a worse individual than this absolute flog??

Give me a name in his place...........anyone........please......????  No??....

Well  I say KICK HIM OUT!!! Its not a good look, but OK where's his excuse for his idiocy..... Oh, he hasn't got one - Really, Seriously, WTF.... You're an Aussie, are you.... really? Nup, sorry NOT buying it....

Its a pity we don't have American judiciary here in this case, because this has to be about a serious enough offence to get you dragged out the back, shot in the head, dumped in a ditch, and no one EVER asks about you're name again!!

OK, Rant over.. This is not personal, and its not about Sam the individual. I really don't care who you are, what party you're in, your ethnic background, who you associate with sexually etc etc and all that. I really don't. I'm not at all interested in all the leftist smeg and the mindless crap that it entails.

The key point here is the level of the perceived crime here and how bad it stinks.....

And guess what Sam... IT Stinks, and it STINKS BAD MATE. Now get OUT!!!

Sorry, no offence intended, but no regard for him as he's clearly made his bed on the other side of the fence..

All IMHO of course..

Cheers

ps. we need to set the benchmark for our pollies, and knife them by it if the standards aren't met. Social media may have its benefits after all. Hopefully

Oh sweet that is indeed good news,Now for smeg shorton to follow him out the door for showing lack of moral fibre for allowing shonky sam to hang around so long.

Yes, I was going to mention that one Clyde, a Chicken Dinner perhaps?

I think the affairs of Huang Xiangmo might take a couple more down before it is done and dusted.

Reports last week that some of Mr Huang's staff are campaigning for John Alexander in Bennelong raised a few eyebrows too.

Bennelong is a very much Chinese Electorate that whole section of Sydney (Epping,Chatswood,Eastwood ETC) has a huge Asian population.

Well that's saved another HCA case involving s44(i).

A citizen of another country he may not be, but there was a clear cut case of "acknowledgement of allegiance, obedience, or adherence to a foreign power."

You can see why obedience to anyone else was big a problem for the NSW ALP, their parliamentarians are supposed to exercise Eddie Obeidience.

Ask Robb? Seriously you think LNP pollies don’t partake in more than an occasional Chinese Banquet. Laughing

Labor pollies can go gaga when let near the trough whereas the Libs are born to trough.

China is a superpower and will seek to influence our domestic affairs, shock horror! Smeg there’s a Yank media tycoon who’s been doing it for decades.

The new anti espionage steps don’t go far enough. It’s not hard to imagine a few political benefactors who will intercede on behalf of countries that help them get that wealth. It’s just a lot more subtle than Mr Dastyari’s wannabe activities.
  Valvegear Dr Beeching

One is entitled to wonder why the Libs have been strenuously resisting the idea of an Independent Anti-Corruption body for a long time while the rest of the Parliament wants one.  It's not a good look - why resist the idea and look soft on corruption?
  michaelgm Chief Commissioner

Greed, power, influence and corruption. The thing I find amazing is that when they get fingered with the hand in the honey pot/snout in the trough, poor me. Upon deep reflection, soul searching and what's best for the party country etc. I need to go. just BS. Federal ICAC, ASAP.

As for Sam, furious networking, probably employed by close of business today. In a better paying job with far less scrutiny.

Indeed but if Mr Huang is organising for his paid staff to campaign on behalf of Mr Alexander who is supporting Mr Huang's mega redevelopment of his East World shopping centre in the electorate of Bennelong and that is not being declared as a political donation then it appears (to me anyway) to be open to interpretation as either a breach of disclosure laws, corruption or both.

Thanks for the interesting bit of info, CG.
I had always imagined that area of Sydney to be the last stronghold of the Anglo Saxon Protestants, so your post puts a very different perspective on it.
