Anyone see the recent SBS program on the Ghan?
A three hour program of the Ghan trip from Adelaide to Darwin with virtually NO commentary!
The program style is called "Slow TV"

Tomorrow, Sunday 14th SBS are screening the 17 hour version

Any Opinions?

Not quite correct the Ghan had NR75 and 109, NR74 is working up the East coast to Brisbane.

Interesting to note that since the Christmas break the motorail wagon is now attached to the southern end of the consist (previously was on the northern end (loco end))

No report from last week as work had me in the South East for the weekend

1AD8  ex APT on time at 12:15pm Sunday, 18th February 2018

NR109 NR75 with a consist of 40 carriages.

8050 as terminal shunter.

As mentioned a few weeks back the motorail wagon is now to be positioned at the rear of all GSR passenger trains, apparently this is a result of the two recent derailments of motorail wagons (Torrens Junction & East Perth)
