As the title say's, I am having some crashing problems when I load up some routes in Activity Editor (AE) after turning on Signals and zooming in and out

Error message:
Microsoft Train Simulator v1.4 has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program

Caused by: Turning on signals in Activity Editor and zooming in and out
These routes do not have any problems, the error above is caused by when I turn on signals for the following routes:
Central West, Main Illawarra, North West, Short West/Short South, Southern Main v3,
Tweed v2, Coals to Newcastle, Innsbruck - St. Anton (Default route), Joppa Junction Plus,
Tumulla Bank Plus, Settle & Carlisle Line (Default route)

Working routes that will not crash when loading signals in AE: Blue Mountains, Hisatsu Line (Default route),
Marias Pass (Default route), Northeast Corridor (Default route), Tokyo - Hakone (Default route) and the default tutorial route

Routes excluded because there are no signals: Illawarra Stage 1

If anyone can tell me why Activity Editor has shot itself when turning on signals and zooming in and out
and if there is a way to fix this issue I am having that would be appreciated, I know there is nothing wrong with any routes

G'day mate, I have Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit) but that's not an issue as I've been using MSTS on this laptop for year's! Since I upgraded from Windows XP

The Event Viewer is displaying the routes correctly, but as soon as I turn on the signals under the View menu some routes crash right away and some allow me to move around, zoom in/out before crashing and some just doesn't crash at all when I turn on the signals, zoom in/out

If you ask me mate, Activity Editor has it's own mind haha But the good news is that there is nothing wrong with any of the routes installed or the default routes

Maybe because I haven't been playing MSTS for over a year, it decided not to like me any more hahaha

I meant the Windows event viewer (run eventvwr), not MSTS. You will be looking for application errors which will have a specific error code assigned to them.

I ran Windows Event Viewer but I can't find MSTS in the list anywhere?

It just crashes which doesn't show any error code, it just tells me to close MSTS after turning on the signals in Activity Editor, zooming in/out and then it crashes, that's all I can say mate

I can always give MSTS a fresh install and see how that goes for me, if that doesn't fix the problem my final choice is reinstalling Windows I don't mind doing that if I need to. But anyway, I will try a fresh install of MSTS first

The event viewer will show one. Try searching for train.exe or launcher.exe.

Neither train.exe or launcher.exe shows up in Windows Event Viewer, I have checked several times mate

I've disabled a lot of features on my computer such as, error reporting, system backup, system protection, UAC etc. So maybe that could be the reason why I can't see either train.exe or launcher.exe within the Windows Event Viewer as most of the rubbish is turned off haha

I will give MSTS a fresh install and see how that goes, if not I will freshly install Windows removing any errors from my computer and then MSTS will work from there as I never had any problems with signals being turned on before and I could zoom in/out and toggle the signals failed or can be passed at stop etc.. One way or the other mate I will work it out hahaha
