Guys,

We have found the issues with Railpage railcams and are working to resolve the issue.  There are several approaches to images using flickr MGH has implemented including a private API key which is causing the issues.

We are working through these issues presently.

Problem is more complicated and the code needs some re-writing. Paul is working through the issues.  Once of the problems is the flickr API which has firewalled the servers at RP.  This seems to be because of the way we use it and the traffic volumes.

We are getting there.

Yes power issues at that location which we are hoping to resolve.  There is a switch failure at Albion which will be resolved tomorrow with a replacement Cisco POE switch.

There is a radio failure at Gheringhap Loop so expect those cameras to be back online tomorrow also.

Railcam images for Melbourne sites have stalled due to a radio/routing issues at Mount Dandenong caused by the wild weather on Friday.  The issue is within the Melbourne Wireless network and is being address.

Albion routing was replaced yesterday and those images and video from Albion recommence once the mount dandenong issue has been resolved.

The railcam network should be back later tonight as the issues at Mount Dandenong caused by the weather last week are being resolved later today. Bunbury Street backlog is cached and will come through when the link to the RDC returns.

Glad Albion is back but need gherimghap with all the train changes.

Why does camera 2at albion seem to take more photos than camera 3

Is it because it is more side onfor cam 3

it would seem that resolving the issue at Mt Lofty might be more difficult than first indicated?

It would help a lot if all of this did not just fall on busy myself and michelle.  I really need to get some helpers in South Australia.  @Pressman has help us which was great.

As per the power issue, hopefully we can get a resolution from the SA Government.

There were several code quality issues addressed.  Further, an entry had been placed into the /etc/hosts file pointing to a different endpoint (perhaps non-existent) for the flickr API.

Oh dear... Is /etc/hosts even necessary these days?
