Hi c3526blue,
Thanks for your comments. I like the idea of "B26". It doesn't encroach on VR numbering as the original "B Class" started at B60 - I think, or was it B61? Anyway I would have to refer to VR archives, WELL IT WAS A LONG TIME AGO!

So B26 it will be!
Hi petan,
I have the Lima version of S315, as well as a Triang R159A/R250A double ended but there is a bit of work to be done to get it running on DCC. The first - & only time - I put it on the track there was a dead short before even to start to control it due to the all metal bogie. I'm not to prepared to do a DCC conversion of it myself, even if it is feasible to do it. So I guess I will have to save the dollars to get it done for me.
The S315 runs well on DCC. I have a couple of BR locos to be converted to DCC as well, so they will have to wait in the queue. I also have another British diesel very, very similar to the NSW Class 4x series in the NSW colours. (Triang R357, It did have a running number on it that looks like Class 422)
Thanks for all the comments from others. I won't let the nitpickers get to me. I'll just ignore them. As was said, it is
MY railway and
I will do as
I please!
Sorry about my rambling on,
Ian
