They probably went o the pub after being thrown off the train!

V/Line must put up with a lot of crazy people on trains and not all well behaved.

AND I’d already mentioned it in another thread.

Seriously, common courtesy would be to catch up on other threads to make sure you’re up to speed before starting your own. It’ll be more fun for all of us.

Maybe Jessica Howard should write about all the ones getting kicked off suburban trains almost every day.

More likely he wants a flame thrower. Or simply to be able to come to RP and have a quick swing through the New Forum Posts without having to trawl through countless pointless threads started by people who don't even have the courtesy to take a few minutes to check to see if a topic is already being discussed before leaping in and starting a new thread.

As PIMM, Vinelander and others have pointed out all these one day wonders actually make it more difficult to search the forums and also split the conversation into parts when it would be far more interesting for all if it were in one thread.

Monday must've been a slow news day...

Seriously though - "V/line passenger(s) sent home in the back of a Divvy Van" happens most weekends on the Bendigo/Swan Hill line.

A bit like watching Regional TV news in the 1980s when "Pet cat rescued from suburban tree by Firefighter" was the headline story....
