Give me a few moments and I will respond been a little  busy this week Wink
Considering that I first asked the question on 21/10/2018, over a month ago, that excuse just doesn't cut it!
Bump - yet again! It would be really good if the developer(s) could post some updates, please!
Bump again. Around 2½ months since I asked the question and still waiting for an answer...
Graham4405
@bevans it's mow more than 3 months since I asked the question and more than two months since you said "Give me a few moments". Still waiting...

Got the outage page again last night on trying to log out of the site, it was around 1.18am or just after that it happened though.

Another bug coming back now is you log in and go to a thread and go back to the main page and find you have been logged out and need to log back in to continue. It has happened several times to me over the past week.

Think you'll find you're not logged out. The session just isn't persisting. You're right, it's equally annoying from an EU perspective.

Sometimes this happens after logging in from google with new homepage

Now the thing about logging in is still happening and sometimes late at night you cannot log out either it tries to log you out but either gives up and does nothing or you get the outage page. It has been doing this for months now. Not a huge worry but a worry just the same. You also get from time to time the outage page because of too many connections and there is only a handful of people on at about 2 am in the morning here. It can also happen just clicking on the next thread or section on here as well, when again there is only a handfull of people on the site.

Needs a cert installed.  I will look into this today.  The search is running but not accepting connections.

Ranking mis-match. In most cases the ranking shown on a user's posts doesn't match that shown on their profile!

Edit: For example my ranking shown on this post is "Minister for Railways", but my profile shows "The Ghost of George Stephenson".

Brian,

I for one would appreciate regular updates from the developer. This helps us as the end users to take note of any issues and report them against the progress reports, thus resulting in a better product all round.

Thanks!

I am planning on taking volunteers to form a committee to work through the early testing of the development and own a part of the testing and help to push the developments through.  I return will develop a mobile application, and other features which have been in the pipeline for some time and are part way through their development.

You will be introduced to agile practices for product building which is fun and ensures features are quickly deployed.

Let me know your thoughts.

When a link to a Twitter post is posted in a forum post, the Twitter post appears briefly, then disappears in Chrome, but works in Edge (Yuck!).

Well today every time I changed from one subject to the next on the main index page I had to log in again, 3 times it happened in less than 10 minutes today so could I ask that this hiccup be at least looked at, I don't mind having to re log in again just about every thread etc but it is way past a joke now and seems to be getting worse. It started a while back and comes along just as you change subjects or threads. It seems random now more so than it was before and was reported a month or more back as well. Yes I know we cannot expect every little thing to be fixed but it might be something that is keeping some posters away from this site.

I haven't encountered this problem.
  DJPeters Assistant Commissioner

I have quite a few times of late Graham4405 it just cuts your session short or something. But I have only ever had to re log in once and it would be alright last night like I said it took three separate logins to simply continue. It logs you in, in the first place though but then you decide to go to some topic or section so you click on it and then you wonder why you were logged out, and none of the notification's is showing up, no warning not even an error page, it just logs you out. last night was the worst I have encountered it though.

Once you are logged in you should stay logged in till you yourself log out, not have the server making you jump hoops almost. It is only a slight glitch though but to those it happens to it is starting to peeve them off me included.

Other times though like just now you log in and it works perfectly.
