Thanks.  Is the Yarra valley line replacing rail?

I was up there in March and a lot of rail has been removed on the down side of Yarra Glen.

No the line from Yarra glen to lillydale is being ripped up for a rail trail

Did Bullarto ever have a yard as such for shunting goods wagons, a goods shed, etc...like more than just the mainline going through the platform...

Also, in the deep past, was it ever an attended station Question

Read the post carefully.  I mentioned the line on the DOWN side of yarra Glen has been lifted.  Not the line between Yarra Glen and Lilydale.

Nope, Up side of Yarra Glen IS being lifted to facilitate a rail trail

Excuse me for this question.

Did the Daylesford line and Bullarto at the time would they have accepted goods for Ballarat and for Melbourne and would those wagons for Ballarat have gone via Daylesford and Clunes to Ballarat as Daylesford was connected with two lines for quite a length of time.

The line on the down side of Yarra Glen is under the control of the Yarra Valley Railway and is irrelevant to the discussion.

DSCR's Bullarto station yard works have been enabled by the lifting of turnouts from Coldstream Yard on the UP end of Yarra Glen.

In response to Bevan's original question, the YVR have lifted most of their line on the up side of their point of current operations to be relaid with the rails and sleepers that they were given by LXRA from the rebuild of the CD9 stretch of the Dandenong line.
So, yes, the line has been lifted but with the intention of relaying with heavier rail; no it's not gone to Bullarto, that's come from the long disused section (Lilydale - Yarra Glen) that YVR aren't intending to use in the near future

Thanks Neil.  This was my point that the rail was being lifted on the downside of the Yarra Glen yard and station.
