I would like to upload photos for the photos section. Any help would be appreciated.I remember a few year's back I asked this same question, I did get the help I needed and now it's time for me to share my advice
Thanks for that, I get the bit about 3rd party image sharing apps, but how do I get them into the photo section?Click on "Quick Reply" just below here. On the row of icons above where you can enter text, the fourth or fifth from the right is the "insert image" link. You need to get the direct link for your image from the hosting site (and that varies) and then when you click on the insert image link you can past in the copied link into the URL box.

You can post an image from anywhere, for the record. Thanks for that, I get the bit about 3rd party image sharing apps, but how do I get them into the photo section?I think you need a Flickr account and link that to Railpage. Something I tried to do ages ago, but couldn't get it to work.
Hi. If you are on flickr you can join the Railpage group on flickr. Once this is approved and it does not take long (i do not administer this) you can then upload any images to flickr or you can use existing flickr images and tag that image to the Railpage group and the photos will appear in the front page.
In future build right now the mobile APP allows you to take images with the mobile device or take images from your device library and publish these to Railpage. Once testing and implementation is completed those images will sit outside of flickr and will appear in the users photo gallery and if you follow the user you will get a notification of new photos from the followed on your device. This will also be available for the web based service.
Images can also be tagged against an event you are attending.
Are you talking about the Content > Photos menu item? You can post an image from anywhere, for the record.
Whether or not it appears in a card, is another thing entirely.
