The things you find when you aren't looking.  I came across these photos of one of the meter gauge U classes on Tripadvisor and can't recall seeing them posted before.

Doesn't look like it was ever changed much, even still carries the Launceston workshops rebuild plate.

Both units that were shipped to Siam still exist I believe. In more recent and local news the LNER has recently acquired the remains of one of the U's That was sold off. Forget the Number thou:oops:
