With so much investment dollars being made available for NT projects I would like to see some of this for rail and especially some of the longer term mining projects which could use a rail spur rather than a haul road reducing costs for the company considerably.

Maybe also a review of a rail connection to the Ord River Scheme?

What has become of the north south railway and it's promise to get goods to and from Darwin Port quickly and provide a time-saving advantage to the southern states? Freightlink is gone. Who's next?

That plan became stillborn or very short lived, because of the cost of shipping containers through the Port of Darwin.

It Is much cheaper to send the ship all the way around to the likes of Melbourne (Some Melbourne - Asia loading does go via Fremantle)
