Hi all , My late father in law had a couple of old northern models loco kits. Unfortunately there are no instructions. There is a VIC railways “Y” class and a “W”class. Would love to get these running, would anyone know what mechanism would go under the bodies or maybe have some old instructions lying around. I know its a long shot. I have a 3rd series “T” and an X class still running around after all these years on their Athearn mechs. Any help appreciated.

Northern modes had no instructions - well nothing useful at all.

detail etc you had to photograph the prototype and find detail bits.

Mechs - well the Y probally  SEM black beetles if available   The W could use a Terrier doner or a thomad the tank doner.

I have a copy of the Northern Models instructions for the Y-class, and one page of the T-class instructions. I dug them out of my shed, so they're a bit water damaged - they date back to 1992! Theyre really just typed sheets, with some prototype info on one page, some assembly instructions on another and an outline diagram from VR on a third. Are you still after them?
