I watched the show last night for the first time and marveled at the interesting interactions between them all.

Why are they so after Angela?

My guess would be because that's what the script says.

For those just here trashing the series, perhaps youve had your say and might want to keep the thread clear for those who want to chat about it?  There are a bunch of diverse views, even on RP.  Dont be unnecessarily snarky like others are not in threads that you are passionate about.

Re why Angela, well, the directors painted a picture of an overly aggressive player that painted a big target on her own back with her actions.  So Id say that is why.  There isnt scripting in this show, but directors do pick and choose what we see, of course.

I think the teaser for next week is interesting, it looks like Dan, Mat and Xavier are all going to be put up.  Thats going to be a guaranteed split of the alpha group for sure...

Anyways, back on topic, Tonight Hannah was evicted which is no great loss as she didnt really do anything noteworthy so in other words she was just a filler housemate.

This Sunday there will be a covid themed Big Brother episode showing when the housemates find out about the crisis for the first time which will be really interesting to watch.

I don't understand one thing with this format - do they do 3 evictions over the same nights that we see them, or are these once a week and so what we see is pre-recorded and compressed but when it gets to the last one, it will be live so the public can vote?

There are SO many better things to watch on TV or streaming in the meantime. Try to start watching something decent such as Arrested Development or Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. SO Many better things to waste time watching then this normalising of Orwellian surveillance.

If youre into good SciFi, take it up a few notches and go for The Expanse or BattleStar Galactica (the 2004 remake).

From what i have heard, each ninety minute minute Big Brother episode is filmed over two days - the first day being the nominations challenge and the second day being the eviction ceremony - with a total of six days of action from the house shown over three weekly episodes airing from sunday to tuesday. Sunday being the seventh day, is apparently a rest day for both the housemate cast and the production crew where there are no challenges or evictions, the reasons apparently being that legal OHSW requirements dictate a rest day for the cast, and expensive penalty rates dictate a rest day for the crew.

Regarding the final episode, yes there will be a live finale in which the general public can ring up and vote for who they want to win the series, out of the final three housemates.

I don't watch it and I don't care for it, but I am not going to come here and bag the show. People on this thread enjoy the show.

If you feel that it is rubbish, why does it annoy you sooo much that you have to bag it. I interpret that their marketing has been successful to arise a response from you. Of course you will deny it as it is beneath you, but Channel 7 has won.

Also, I don't imagine that the pure people commenting here, to bag the people that are commenting on the actual show, are so wonderfully perfect and do not watch a single show on TV that another person would find to be dull, cr@p, productive or stupid.

My family can't handle me watching rail related shows. They don't join Railpage Australia™ and then comment and bag everyone here that enjoy the latest rail YT clip. They simply don't comment online as they understand we are all different with our passions and interests.

So leave the people that want to watch unreality and escapism. It is their life choice. If you don't like it, then that is wonderfully fine, you are certainly entitled to that opinion, but don't project your opinion on to those that do like it. Your opinion is not superior, to those that do.

This reminds me of the inane comments under online new paper articles. People there somehow think that trolling each other will somehow miraculously make other commentators change their mind. It doesn't happen. Wasting time and good venom. Use it on something that you are passionate for. Although it is always to easier spit venom than to be constructive.
