If the last challenge was done in the normal format; Sophie would have won and nominated both Matt and Dan. Both Chad and Sarah would have evicted Matt from the house. The final four would have been Sarah, Sophie, Chad, and Dan.

Obviously not what the scriptwriters wanted.

Which is why Big Brother should be a semi live show and not use a pre recorded format.

Maybe the producers saw the ratings (only 2.5% of the nation is watching) and re-edited it so they could get it closed off with minimal chance of a noisy minority demanding the show be extended.

Yeah she was the wrong one to go.

Dan was never not going to vote for Matt.....

Seriously Matt and Dan should have been put up next to each other as soon as the evictions moved to a 2 person list.
It emphasises just how fake "reality" TV really is! Predetermined outcome much?
Nah its more of a case of us seeing what we are shown.

So, yeah, they show you what they want you to see rather than reality, duh!

I recon if Chad goes, the 3 we are left with will be hard to pick a winner from.

Chad is the one left with the most likability of them all.  Matt and Dan are a bit smeared with negative vibes given their exclusive bromance and actions/reactions regarding Sophie, and people won't like Sophie as she was put back in the house.  Chad is the slightly dumb acting guy that people can warm to most.

Tho really Sarah was probably the last real candidate to be a real peoples favourite.

Totally unbelievable that any one could go to so much trouble assessing a group of shallow dimwits.

Big Brother's biggest fan won't be here today, too busy making phone calls/texts or tweets or however they vote for the winner.

He's wasting his time.

The information I have from a reliable industry source is that there hasn't been a legit public vote in any Australian "reality TV" series since 2004.

I just voted, all done online and only one vote per household these days, for Chad since he seems to be the most genuine out of the final three.

Well everyone, tonights finale was nothing but a cracker way of ending the 2020 season of Big Brother. A massiv congratulations on Chaddles for the win, and a big credit for Sonia too who was an awesome host this evening.

Both Ian trash talking Big Brother and Chad swearing on live TV were GOLD! Laughing

I'm glad you enjoyed it, Gayspie.

Yeah i thought that it was a little lacklustre to be honest.  The first final eviction where you had Anne Marie leave, then Blair and saw Ben hanging in the house on his own was quite a bit more punchy.

What they should have done is similar here - and had the live eviction match up with the final days in the house so they could be more relevant.  IDK but these guys have been out of the house for quite some time (ie about a month or two) so it has been quite a bit of time since then.

Loved the F bomb not getting beeped, Ch7 will get a rap over the knuckles for that im sure.

And yes, right person won, based on who we were told to vote for Wink

I wonder if all the little old ladies will complain now that the f bomb was dropped on live TV and not bleeped out.

It was also nice to see Sonia, unlike her days hosting the 9 iteration of BB, being allowed to think on her feet without being stuck to the autocue.

Dam it, may have to  Google Sonia thinking on her feet.

Anyway Gayspie, you enjoyed it.

I hope ACMA can get creative with their sanction for that. Seven being forced to have all their channels go blank for 60 seconds during prime time one night next week would hit them far harder than any fine would.

You do realize that, due to a combination of both our strict Australian TV content regulations and immense competition from online media streaming services, channel 7 really are broke!
