    Today marks 44 years since the Granville train disaster - the worst rail tragedy in Australia’s history.

    For those who survived how frightening the event must have been when it unfolded and for those who worked to save the survivors at a time when conditions like PTSD were not known I hope those who needed help actually got it.

    Is it still the worst train disaster in Australian History, what about the Southern Aurora?

    The concept of PTSD would not have been around including the name but the symptoms would have been. So many of those brave souls would have seen some awful things.
