Millennium M Set Refurbishment

    Hi Guys,

    When will Millennium/M Sets get refurbished, they never been refurbished for 15 or so years compared to Tangaras and V Sets which get refurbished every 10 years or so.

    I noticed that they are generally in a poor condition now include the yellow paint completely coming off the front of the train and the and some of the doors have been discoloured.

    Discolouration mostly comes from graffiti removal. Unfortunately something that can't be solved with a one-off expensive refurbishment.

    There's certainly a case for an upgrade to some of the interior layout - standardise seats between the Mill and the Waratah, for example.

    Would not surprise me if they went before the T sets. They are a bit of an orphan.

    What is the difference between seats?  I don't think I've travelled on the Millenium, I'm just curious.

    While the seats are similar I personally prefer the M-set seats over the waratahs

    The handrails are silver and blue on M sets and grey on A/B sets. M sets also used to have different seat fabric.
