There are plenty of plans for
* Rail Lines
* Pipe Lines (oil and gas)
* Ports.
One BRI proposal is a China to Myanmar corridor for Rail/Road/Oil/Gas.Thanks for the info.
Connects:
* Kunming in China.
* Muse in Myanmar on China border.
* Mandalay 2nd city in Myanmar.
* Naypyidaw capital city.
* Kyaukphy deepwater port
The new rail line would be SG with a large loading gauge.
Existing MY railways are metre gauge with a small loading gauge.

The Economist of 2021-02-06 p15 has a map of the proposal.
The previous military gummint which lasted about 40 years, more or less doubled the size of the metre gauge railway network network. They are pretty rail friendly.
I expect this Belt and Road project to move ahead rapidly now that the military is back in full control.
