Auscision and AustralianModeller have been posting on Instagram for many years, often putting "quick" pics of recent samples there as soon as they're unboxed, then a few days later the more professional looking (posed, well lit) pics appear on facebook and web blog. Instagram has also been used to announce special deals such as 20% flash sales not mentioned by them elsewhere.

Instagram is part of the Facebook empire and Auscision, like any progressive company, wisely uses all social media avenues to maximise brand exposure. We've known about the N scale NR project for a year+, and the BGKF sample was posted on Facebook not that long ago. The Instagram post offers nothing overly exciting from the unknowns beyond confirmation the NHFF is also being released which was a no-brainer as the BGKF is a NHFF with lid added.

Because, ugh, insert whatever dumb name for Facebook you can think of that makes you feel better, compresses the heck out of videos despite their 'High Definition' settings. Instagram doesn't go so far allowing atleast sounds to be closer to reality.

Interesting choice they picked the NHFF/SSR grain hoppers over something to pair with the NRs but news does suggest there's a number of models coming.

Ah well, I guess my 75 year old eyes don't see the difference anyway, even if I can still read the second last line on the charts.

When face poop finally destroys itself and all move elsewhere, it will be time to move, but like I said,  too many crappy programs on here already.

That's just an embedded Facebook frame.
It's got exactly the same limitations, in fact clicking read more takes you to Facebook as normal.

2021 Auscision Project Update.

Well 2021 looks to be a very busy year for Auscision, with many models being delivered over the next 10 months as our factory plays catch up with our projects, after a slow start to 2020 with all the issues the world has faced. It’s great that we have such an amazing hobby where we can enjoy our time at home indoors surrounded with model trains.

After discussions with our factory regarding projects, we have the following updates. Please remember that we always try our best to deliver projects in a timely manner, but sometimes things out of our control can add significant delays to projects. Especially when making highly detailed model trains with various body versions and multiple liveries like we do. The toy train makers out there have got it easy! One thing to remember is Auscision always delivers. In the last 4 months alone we have delivered 6 massive projects which has kept everyone at Auscision quite busy and on their feet.

When we receive new information from our factory, we always advise our customers straight away via our Facebook page and by updating the delivery dates on the product page on our website. Please refer to these pages for the latest information before contacting us directly. We are not always available for an immediate reply to messages or emails, and it can sometimes take up to a week to reply to everyone, especially around new model releases where we are all busy in the warehouse shipping out orders.

Tangara - This is the next project to leave the factory. We are expecting the shipment to leave China the first week in March, as soon as our workers come back from CNY holidays. We will start to send letters out next week requesting balance of payments for those that placed a deposit early on with this project.

600 Class - Our factory has nearly finished assembling the 600 Class models and should have them all complete mid-March. They will leave China before the end of March.

Indigenous NR Class - This has been the most complex and time consuming model our factory has ever made! The amount of printing processes is just horrendous. Maybe we should have used a decal for all the decoration. Delivery is expected in April. Pre-order pricing has finished but we are still accepting pre-orders at the delivery price. Sound units are selling fast.

Tait Passenger Train - The Tait’s are another big and complex project because of the many different versions we have on offer. Once the 600 Class are complete our factory will be full steam ahead with assembling the Tait’s. As soon as we have a firm shipment date we will advise.

E Passenger Cars - Painted samples were received in January and look good. A few changes to be made which our factory will start to work on after CNY holidays. Once we approve the updated colour samples, they will go into production. At this stage the E Cars are slotted in for production after the Tait Sets sometime around April. We will keep you updated when we receive further information.

CDY Open Wagons - Our CDY Wagons are currently in production and are expected around April/May. We are still accepting orders at the pre-order price.

CTS Hoppers - These hoppers are scheduled for production after the E Cars. Delivery is expected in May.

NHYH Coal Hoppers - Our factory is working on painted samples which should be expected around April. Once these are approved we will get a firm production date and will update.

C Class - We are expecting painted samples in the coming months. Unfortunately this project has suffered delays due to some tooling issues that needed to be rectified. This is now fixed, so we are able to move onto the next stage. We will
Keep you updated when we get more info from the factory.

DEB Sets - Tooling samples are currently being assembled at our factory and should arrive at our office soon. Once received we will post photos of the samples and have them on display at Australian Modeller. At this stage we are looking at late 2021 for delivery. Pre-orders are still open for the DEB sets.

44 Class - Painted samples are expected soon. As soon as we receive them we will post photos. The 44 Class is looking at 3rd quarter 2021 for delivery. We have been playing around with our MK1 44 Class sound recordings and they sound really good. This is going to be one great sounding model. Be sure to order your DCC Sound equipped version before they sell out.

G/BL Class - This is another project in painted sample stage, and is now looking at 3rd quarter 2021 for delivery.

GT46C-ACE - Unfortunately this model has been delayed until mid-year due to some issues with upgrading the chassis with new speakers and new PCB to accommodate decoder setup with flashing ditch lights. We should now see painted samples in the coming months. We are keeping pre-orders open a little longer so those that haven’t yet ordered should do so quickly.

XGAY Hoppers - This project is still going ahead but is unfortunately going to be delayed until later in 2021.

N Scale NR Class Locomotive & NHFF Coal Hoppers - Some of you would have seen recent photos on Facebook of BGKF Grain Hopper samples. Yes, these are N Scale! Our factory has done an amazing job with the tooling. There is the same amount of parts on our N Scale Hopper as there is on our HO Scale version. Painted samples of the N Scale NR Class & NHFF Coal Hoppers/BGKF Grain Hoppers are expected in the coming months. We will post photos on our Facebook page and release order forms once painted samples have arrived. NR Class with DCC Sound can be seen and heard running around at Australian Modeller, pulling some NHFF Coal Hoppers.

Keep your eye out for some new model announcements in N, HO & O Scales. Despite our Sydney staff being busy over the past 4 months posting out orders and working in the warehouse, Panda has been flat-out while locked down in Melbourne, working on plenty new projects during the latter half of 2020, until his weekend escape to the Sydney office.
