I am not a fan of Rishi Sunak. A Conservative who will make the working class suffer. Just another rich Tory who does not give a stuff.

But look at the absolute fools that are the Conservative Party. It is either him or Liz Truss. Truss for gawd sakes. She is as dumb as dog $hite.

Seriously though, Johnson would have been gone weeks ago if they had a stronger contender for the role.  His last interview was all trains in England crashing at once...

Notwithstanding Boris' future, I was pleased to hear about the Conservative governments funding allocation to reinstating closed lines upon application, so I hope that initiative remains under the new leader.

That is about the only decent policy they have. The fact that they have cancelled the Eastern leg of HS2 did not go down very well.

I cannot understand why the need for HSR in England. Trains over there already travel at up to 125MPH and the tracks could cope with higher speeds with some additional work without duplicating the network.

Its to add capacity as both the East Coast and West Coast Mainlines are very near capacity.

Blame Teresa May for that. Would not promote brilliant Administrators and Constituent MP's such as Justine Greening. Instead she promoted idiots like Dominic Raab and Chris Grayling. All in an effort to get Brexit done.

Boris (and others of his ilk) would do well to get a copy of former President Truman's desk plaque; "The Buck Stops Here."

He won't though. He is already throwing staffers under the bus and he has assembled his dimwits to carry out Operation Big Dog. To protect Boris at all times.

The UK is finished. And most of it is to do with Brexit and the bloody Conservative Party.

Without exception (well I cannot think of one) it seems that sooner or later those in high places reach the stage where they believe that they cannot be held responsible for anything ie that they are above the law and beyond the reach of the 'pub test'.

Who would you NOT like to see on TV today unless they have anything worthwhile and honest to say (unlikely)? Here are a few on my list:
  • Scott Morrison
  • Daniel Andrews
  • Greg Hunt
  • Jacinta Allan
  • Sally Cash
  • Georgie Crozier
  • Mark McGowan
  • What's his NSW face who replaced Gladys B.....
  • The multitude of Victorian Health Bureaucrats (are they all female?)
  • Thingo Foley (Vic Heath Minister) Little risk as he has nothing to do so gone on holiday.Rolling Eyes
Even Herr Kommandant Weimar is appearing to become slightly acceptable!!!!!!!!!!!

A few worthy additions to YM's list:

  • George Christensen
  • Clive Palmer
  • Craig Kelly
  • Christian Porter
  • Pauline Hanson
  • Peter Dutton
  • Tony Abbot
  • Peta Credlin
  • Barnaby Joyce
  • Bill Shorten
  • Paul Keating
