What a disaster...
Also worth thinking about...Both major parties kicked in the head with a significant loss of votes - but the problem is that a Labor minority government (most likely outcome at this point) will be unworkable and we'll be back to the polls before you know it. The Greens are radical socialists and their demands can't be met by any reasonable government - we will not have a stable government if that happens.
So it's more or less a hung Parliament, as I predicted. Also worth thinking about...Both major parties kicked in the head with a significant loss of votes - but the problem is that a Labor minority government (most likely outcome at this point) will be unworkable and we'll be back to the polls before you know it. Yes, very much looking like a hung parliament. As for the Senate - grab your popcorn....Definitely no minority government for the LNP - Labor may govern in their own right. Hard to know as postals and absentees often favor the LNP.
We'll be back at the polls by late-2023 imo.
The preferred local candidate, Tu Le was particularly popular and in my view would easily won, yet she was pushed aside for KK.Barrie Cassidy noted that the ALP got just 31% of primary vote so far.Kristina Keneally is damaged goods, they parachuted her in from over on the North Shore, the locals of Fowler more or less gave her a 2 fingered salute.
Dai La looks to have won Fowler.
