Noticed yesterday plenty of wooden sleepers still smouldering on the Tocumwal line in between Numurkah and Wunghnu.

Sorry to revive the old thread, but could someone update us on how many (if any) wagons are still sitting unused on the line? Thanks.

I noticed new sleepers dropped off next to the shunting lines in front of the Rice Mill on Friday. More work being done relating to this upgrade??

Any updates/pictures of this project?Is the signalling finished and the loop fully operational again?

The Tamper and Ballast Regulator are at Sanger today. They have made good progress and just in the nick of time too as harvest is gearing up in the area!

I had a chance to drive from Oaklands to Yarrawonga yesterday. The Oaklands yard appeared almost finished although there was one track machine still there and a fairly big pile of sleepers still.

By conversion of the Shepparton Line are they meaning to just to Shepparton or all the way to Tocumwal. Surely they wouldnt leave Shepp to Tocumwal gauge stranded!!!!

This plan has been released via the DoT website http://www.transport.vic.gov.au

File is 3.6mb or 80 pages. Some interesting proposals for rail if it all comes off.
