SSR are loading grain in Deniliquin today, returning to Melbourne this evening.  This will be the first revenue train on the upgraded line.

They were doing deflection measurements back in September. That was going to determine if the track could go to Class 3 (100 km/h) or requires a whole lot more work to achieve that.

VL356-VL360 locos have been swapped with X31 and G532 today for Consolidation train duties.  X31 will be the first loco in VR blue and gold on the upgraded section of the line.
