That is some serious damage. Given the tram's class and age, wouldn't it be a candidate for write-off rather than repair?

Unlikely, but it may get more A class trams from other depots getting E class trams.

I can understand that then I guess. but wouldn't it be a good idea to keep atleast 1 considering most comengs during summer have airconditioning faults?
